Arthritis

Arthritis is one of the most common diseases that occur globally. Arthritis, is a Greek word, refers to inflammation of the joint.

Basically arthritis is a result of the affect caused on musculoskeletal system, specifically joints where two or more bones meet. The discomforts include pain, stiffness, inflammation and damage to the tissue that covers the ends of bones, not allowing them to move against each other and surrounding structures.

Further along the line this will result in joint weakness, instability and deformity that can affect their tasks in simple day to day activities such as preparing food.

There are more than 100 forms of arthritis. These diseases bear some similar characteristics like inflammation and pain in joints. The most common forms of arthritis are osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and gout.

It is a growing problem in today’s world, and affecting 3.85 million people in Australia alone. Those days it was associated with growing old, but now found in even younger generation. Researches has been conducted and found that early intervention can delay the onset of the disease and may reduce the number of cases. It is not a curable disease, but can be manageable.

The common symptoms to look for are as follows

In conclusion, arthritis is a disease that doesn’t have an instant cure or a magic pill, at least not yet. But, there are fairly simple ways that you can use to minimize the effects that it has on you and live your life to the fullest. Slight changes to your routine, more attention to pleasure rather than pain, slight changes to your diet and other actions will, in the long run make your life worth living and more enjoyable

Will it be a problem if I drink red wine when you suffer from gouty arthritis? Would it be good if I purchase a cookbook to make sure I always eat right?
