Steps you can take to Control your Anxiety

Another great technique is to start a journal, so you can record how you feel and what is making you feel anxious. Take the time to reflect back on earlier moments of anxiety once you have calmed down. This could give you some powerful insight into why you were anxious in the first place

You can also help ease your anxiety by joining a support group or find a good friend who allows you to express yourself openly. It will help to be able to talk about it, especially if you find someone who has experienced the same thing. It will also be easier to control your anxiety, when you realize that you are not in it alone.

Exercise is good for more than just a fit body. It can be a great escape that relaxes you and helps you find peace with your emotions. You can work off your anxiety, by playing a sport, doing an intense boot camp, or a high-energy aerobics class. The exercise will also give you a rush of endorphins that will help you feel better inside and out.

The last and best method for controlling your anxiety is rising to the challenge. When you face fear and push forward, you will realize that there was nothing to be anxious about in the first place. Try to challenge yourself one a week to do something that would normal make you feel anxious. You can give yourself a fabulous reward for getting through it. If the reward is good enough, it will give you the motivation to do things you never thought possible.
